These Homemade Ghost Pudding Cups are an extremely easy-to-make treat the kids are sure to enjoy! Just 6 simple ingredients and 30 minutes is all you need for this popular Halloween treat!
Homemade Ghost Pudding Cups are a super easy snack idea to make for your Halloween celebration this year. The kids really enjoy helping make them because they are so fast and easy! If you are using them for a Halloween Party, you can even make everything ahead the afternoon of the party and set it aside so the kids can have fun assembling their own little Ghost Cup while they are there! Don’t forget to grab some clear plastic party cups like these to put them in!
To get started, make the pudding according to the instructions, add orange food coloring, and put it in the fridge while you work on the Oreos.
This is the most time consuming step – removing the filling from the Oreos! Put the Oreo cookies in a plastic bag and crush (with your hand or a rolling pin) until they are small chunks. Save a little time by putting your kids to work here. They can scoop the filling out and put the Oreos into a bag. Place half of the Oreo crumbles in the bottom of the cups.
Get the pudding out of the fridge and put 1/2 a cup or so on top of the Oroes. Then put the remaining Oreos over the pudding to make layers of Oreo and pudding in the cups. Fill a Ziploc bag with Cool Whip and snip a corner. Pipe on the “ghost” toppers. You can use black icing, M&Ms, or chocolate chips for the eyes. You could even use a small piece of Oreo if you wanted.
